Demaris Meyer is the woman that has been identified as being the passenger riding with Morgan Freeman when he was at the wheel of what has been reported as a one-car automobile accident where the car flipped several times. Reports now claim that both Freeman and Demaris Meyer were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

An earlier report claimed that they were ejected from the vehicle as it went airborne but if both were belted into the car that is very unlikely. The photo of Meyer is online at TMZ.Com under the headline " This Is Miss Daisy."


Morgan Freeman was apparently at the wheel of a car that is owned by Meyer (of Nashville, Tennessee) and he somehow lost control of the 1997 Nissan Maxima on a rural Mississippi road and he rolled the car over several times. The injuries to Freeman have been described as a broken arm and a broken elbow.

It was earlier reported that he had broken his shoulder as well but the Associated Press is reporting that as only "minor shoulder damage." TMZ reports that a friend has stated that Meyer is very close with Morgan's wife Myrna and is often seen at their house for get-togethers.
