Demi Lovato Returns to X Factor USA and Disses Justin Bieber
Demi Lovato is one of the judges who returns to the US X factor for this season and was at auditions this week when she dissed Justin Bieber in a couple of ways.
According to TMZ, Demi took exception to the attitude one contestant displayed towards her and "sources on set say when it was Demi's turn to give her opinion on the 22-year-old wannabe, she said that the industry already has too many artists with bad attitudes and then commented, "We don't need another little punk running the streets," apparently referring to Biebs.
Lovato later commented on a young man who auditioned with Bieber’s own song, "As Long As You Love Me," and took another dig at Justin.
The report claims the audience "loved his performance and so did the judges," and Demi added:
"Well finally someone can sing the song the way it was meant to be sung.”
Earlier, Demi seemed to take a shot at the Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton's of the world saying "if you just want to be famous" then just make a sex tape.
The 20-year-old singer thinks there are too many people who just want to celebrities and she would discourage anyone from seeking fame unless they have a genuine talent they want to share with the world.
In an interview with The Guardian newspaper, she said:
"When people say 'I want to be famous - I want to be a star', you have to ask, 'What are your intentions? If you just want to be famous, make a sex tape.' So what I'd say is, if you're doing it because you want to be a respected actress or musician, follow your dream. If you just want paparazzi following you, rethink what's going on in your little head. It's crazy how people confuse the two nowadays."
