Dennis Hopper, reported to be on his death bed, is hanging on to see his divorce with wife of 13 years Victoria Duffy finalized, reports claim. Hopper, 73, filed for the divorce last Thursday.

Hopper's representative Alex Hitz said: "They [Hopper and Duffy] have been having trouble and he wants peace and quiet." He also said he wishes his wife Victoria the best.


The couple has a six-year-old daughter, Galen. He is suffering from prostate cancer and is reportedly confined to a bed in Los Angeles, where his ex-wife Brooke Hayward is at his side.

The New York Post reports a longtime family friend said: "Dennis told me, 'I've worked so hard to give Victoria everything she wanted, but it only fueled her appetite for more and more luxury,'" the source said.
