Diddy Dead: R.I.P Sean "Diddy" Combs, Welcome Sean John

Say good-bye to Sean "Diddy" Combs. The rapper, actor and all around entertainer is again moving on and he is killing off the name "Diddy" reports the New York Post's Page Six.Com. The man is still alive of course but according to the report he now wants to be known as Sean John. I think I like "Diddy" better but it will apparently check out so R.I.P. Sean "Diddy" Combs.
It appears that this one will go the way of all of the others. His nickname and stage name Diddy was adopted in August 2005. Previously, he had been known as Puff Daddy and later as P. Diddy (Puff and Puffy being often used as a nickname, but never as recording names). Whew!
This is just another chapter and re-invention for the star, and one would expect this one will be short lived as it is already being lampooned blog wide all over the World Wide Web. So why yet another name in the long line of "Diddy" - uh - "Sean John"?
"Right now I want to be Sean John, because that's where I am," he recently said, most likely in reference to his identically named clothing line, Sean John. "I have always evolved and taken a different name each time."
