After getting dissed on the last season of The Bachelor by Brad Womack, the very sexy and fan favorite DeAnna Pappas will get another shot at finding love on ABC Reality television. According to a report from Us Weekly magazine she is the star of this year's Bachelorette.

Pappas, 26, a real estate agent from Newnan, Georgia, will headline the next season of ABC's The Bachelorette, airing this summer. As many fans will recall Pappas endured a painful, last-minute rejection by Brad Womack on the Bachelor finale last November.


It was a poor ending for Pappas and the show. During the finale even though he had even flown her father in and implied he was going to pick her, he rejected Pappas, as well as the show's other finalist, Jenni Croft.

"DeAnna and I had something that’s pretty special. But I did not see this crazy love that would turn into a lifetime," Womack explained to Us Weekly at the time. That wasn't good enough for many fans of the show and Womack was universally slammed for his "inaction" on the final night. It's a good move by ABC, DeAnna is a sweetie and will make a great Bachelorette.
