The charge was filed by the District Attorney on Monday morning as members of the Jackson family arrived at an LA court to see Dr. Murray arraigned.
The District Attorney alleges in the criminal complaint Dr Murray “did unlawfully, and without malice, kill Michael Joseph Jackson… in the commission of an unlawful act, not a felony; and in the commission of a lawful act which might have produced death, in an unlawful manner, and without due caution and circumspection.”

Jackson’s parents Joe and Katherine arrived at the Airport Courthouse in LA with the Thriller singer’s siblings Tito, Jermaine, LaToya and Randy more than an hour before the hearing was expected to start.
Dr. Murray is expected to plead not guilty, and bail will reportedly be set at $25,000. He gave Jackson the drug Propofol just before the star died. The LA County Coroner’s Office ruled Jackson died as a result of acute Propofol intoxication.
