Dustin Reader Bengals Haircut (Photos) Fan Busted at School!
Nov 13, 2009
Dustin Reader loves the Cincinnati Bengals and showed his pride for the team's first good season in some time with a unique haircut. But when he went to school he found trouble. Dustin Reader got the NFL team's stripes and "B" insignia cut into his hair (see picture linked below) and school officials say that is a violation. He received in-school suspension at Hamilton's Garfield Middle School for his unique display of team pride.

According to the Huffington Post, "Reader's parents and barber said they don't understand why the haircut is out of bounds. His father said his son just wants to show pride in the 6-2 Bengals."

"He's had designs on his head before, and no one said anything," Dustin's mother, Tiny Wanamaker, told the Hamilton JournalNews in an article posted Thursday on its Web site. They have more photos here.
His father, James Reader, was quoted in the article as saying: "This is a way for him to express pride in the Bengals putting up a winning season. It's not racist, not drug-related, not gang-related or anything like that. It's about football." What do you think - is the suspension warranted?
