A report claims that legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor "Collapses in Grief" when she heard the news that her good friend for so many years had suddenly died. Michael Jackson collapsed at his home in Los angeles on Thursday and the report from the entertainment and celebrity fashion magazine claims that after learning her longtime friend Michael Jackson had died yesterday, Elizabeth Taylor broke down - emotionally and physically.

The report adds, "(The) legendary actress, who originally christened her confidante the King of Pop, was preparing to go to the UCLA Medical Center, where the ill-fated singer was being treated, when she heard the tragic news."


“Liz was getting dressed when the second call came that Michael had died, and she collapsed,” an insider tells In Touch. The 77-year-old heartbroken star’s personal physician was summoned to her home.

“Liz is in a state of shock,” the insider continues. “She and Michael had their ups and downs, but she never stopped loving him. Now, she’s grief-stricken beyond words.” Yesterday evening, Elizabeth’s rep said her client was “too devastated by the passing of her dear friend Michael Jackson to issue a statement at this time.” Michael, 50, died suddenly on June 25 after reportedly suffering cardiac arrest.
