"Desperate Housewives" beauty Eva Longoria was slightly injured on Wednesday during the taping of the hit ABC comedy. The 30-year old babe was reportedly "bumped on the head by something" while shooting on location and was taken to a hospital where she was treated and released, a spokesperson for the show said.

"Access Hollywood" has the scoop and is reporting that Eva was hurt when a pole fell on her.

The filming was not taking place on the famed Wisteria Lane set but was talking place a few miles away in Pasadena.

The bump shouldn't keep Longoria away for long as a spokeswoman for "Desperate Housewives" says she "is expected to return to work on schedule."

Vibrator Housewife

Eva made some odd news last week as she confessed in an interview her love of vibrators, saying that all women should own and rely on one. Her fans then sent her boxes of the battery operated sex toys in the mail, causing the self-pleasured 'housewife' to desperately unload them on her friends.

"People sent them to me by the truckload. Boxes and boxes and boxes. I gave them to all my girlfriends," Longoria said.

The ABC network bosses suggested her to be more careful with sex confessions, to avoid shocking TV viewers or her fans.

ABC said, 'Will you please stop saying vibrator', the actress added.

First vibrators, now poles? There's a good double entendre in there somewhere.
