First Cancellation of 2013 - 2014 Fall TV Season, What Shows Have Been Cancelled This Year?
The first cancellation of 2013 - 2014 fall TV season didn't take long, after only two weeks of poor ratings the ABC comedy-drama about lottery winners has been given the axe and quickly taken off the air.
The one-hour show 'Lucky 7' was the lowest rated fall drama premiere in ABC history and it made it only one week past that.
According to E! Online, the ABC show 'Lucky 7' had those record terrible ratings during the first week of the show and the second week "fell to a cringe-worthy 0.7 in the demo rating," and was quickly eliminated from the prime time line-up at ABC.
The show highlighted a story based on a group of seven gas station employees in Queens who finally hit a lottery jackpot and deal with the issues after the big win.
Starting on Oct. 8, ABC will be replacing the Tuesday-night 10 p.m. time slot with Scandal.
What other shows have been canceled so far this season?
CBS is yanking the freshman sitcom "We Are Men" from its schedule.
The show aired on Monday night and was a 30-minute sitcom.
It was about four bachelors dealoing with various life and relationship issues and starred Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O'Connell, Kal Penn and Chris Smith.
It didn't gain any traction with viewers and starting next Monday, "2 Broke Girls" will move into that time slot.
