Florence Henderson Will be 80-Years-Old Today - Played Carol Brady Character on Brady Bunch
Florence Henderson will be 80-years-old today February 14, 2014 (she's famous TV mom Carol Brady of the Brady Bunch) and some of the remaining actors from the show got together for a Brady Bunch reunion this week to celebrate the milestone.
The cast was on the CBS daytime talk show "The Talk" as the ladies hosted a special reunion of "The Brady Bunch" on Thursday to celebrate Henderson's birthday.
Original cast members Barry Williams (Greg), Christopher Knight (Peter), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), and Susan Olsen (Cindy) appeared on the daytime talk show with their TV mom, while Eve Plumb (Jan) and Ann B. Davis (Alice) offered taped birthday greetings for Florence.
Maureen McCormick (aka Marcia Brady) declined to participate in the reunion, but according to Barry Williams (aka Greg Brady), it was a scheduling issue and there are no hard feelings.
The Brady Bunch is a US TV cult classic and is still shown in syndication daily.
The show premiered Sept. 26. 1969 and ran until March 8, 1974 and featured a blended family of a husband with 3 boys marrying a wife with 3 girls.
Ann B. Davis played Alice, the maid who did all of the work around the house and at times, helped hold the family together.
Watch the video below of a classic scene - Marcia takes a football to the face, (tossed by Peter) and her nose swells up and causes her problems with her new boyfriend.
