Actor Gary Coleman has died. The 42-year old actor's wife, Shannon Price, whom he met on the set of the movie Church Ball and married in 2007, is shocked at his sudden passing. A report reveals she was at his side while he was hospitalized and right there until the end. The actor was rushed to the hospital on Thursday.

The Washington Post points out their stormy relationship often made pop culture headlines as Coleman and his wife were arrested several times for disorderly conduct after arguments and, in January 2010, he was jailed overnight for domestic violence.


Coleman suffered a hemorrhage Wednesday at his home in Santaquin, Utah and was rushed to the hospital. He lost consciousness on Thursday.Coleman was later placed on life support. He died on Friday morning.

Coleman was born Feb. 8, 1968, in Zion, Ill.

Besides his wife, survivors include his parents, W.G. Coleman and Edmonia Sue Coleman of Zion.
