The 2010 Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast in HD on Sunday, January 17 live on NBC from The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Who are the winners and losers? We will wait for the envelopes and answers. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association presents their annual awards show and hands some awards out to Hollywood on Sunday.

Kate Winslet and Cher (who is claimed to have a very expensive new look, one tabloid claimed this week) were added to the star-studded list of Golden Globe presenters.


Will George Clooney really score with a best actor and best picture with "Up in the Air"? Also nominated in the Best Picture category are the Quinten Tarantino WWII flick "Inglorious Basterds" and the smaller indy film, "Precious".

Don't count out James Cameron's "Avatar" or the Hurt Locker as both stand a chance at 'best Picture' as well.

Rope of Silicon has predictions and "The Hurt Locker edged out Avatar by a mere 22 votes," for best picture. Will you watch?
