Grand Theft Auto 5 Release Date Revealed (Trailer) - Rockstar Pushes Date Back from Spring 2013
Fans may be waiting a bit longer to play Grand Theft Auto 5 on their favorite video game console as Rockstar has pushed the release date back from Spring 2013.

The games studio has announced that the latest title in its GTA series — Grand Theft Auto V — will launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 not in the spring, but on September 17, 2013.
They pushed back the date to give more time for development.
Grand Theft Auto 5 will give gamers a taste of Rockstar's biggest open world yet - the sprawling metropolis of Los Santos (compare it to real-life Los Angeles).
"Rockstar North are creating our deepest, most beautiful and most immersive world yet," said Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser in a statement.
"We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months."
GTA V will follow the journey of three characters: former street gangster Franklin, longtime ex-con Michael and "violent maniac" Trevor as they navigate Los Santos, reports USA Today.
But it will take about four extra months for the ambitious project to be competed.
A message posted on the company's website states:
"We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time. GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require."
