ABC's Grey's Anatomy makes it's way back to High Definition television on September 27 with a whole bunch of changes. Kate Walsh's Addison Montgomery is off to a spin off on ABC called "Private Practice" and gone is Isaiah Washington and all of that baggage. He's over at NBC's "The Bionic Woman."

So what's up with Grey's Anatomy? Us Weekly reports that executive producer Krista Vernoff says expect loads of drama and the weekly entertainment magazine has this Spoiler alert!


Still reading? After being left at the altar, Cristina (Sandra Oh) returns from the honeymoon - she brought Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) with her - to find that ex-fiancée Burke is nowhere to be found (co-star Isaiah Washington was fired from the show following controversy over his use of a gay slur).

Also off to a rocky start? George (T.R. Knight), who's dealing with the fallout from failing his intern exam. "He's going to be Meredith's intern!" Vernoff dishes. But, she hints, the group will find time to, ahem, play doctor: "Grey's wouldn't be Grey's without some heated romance!"

Online had this earlier: According to Sara Ramirez (Callie), "I don't want to tease about anybody else's character, because I don't want anyone getting mad at me, but my character, Callie, is finally going to admit to herself what's going on with the relationship with George, and she's going to do something about it."
