Famous new mom Jessica Simpson was rumored to have several guilty pleasures during her recent pregnancy, the blonde celebrity was rumored to have a sweet tooth and the Cheesecake Factory on speed dial and that resulted in her gaining a whopping 70 pounds while carrying her baby.

She told Extra TV while she was pregnant that her appetite had gone through the roof and she told them that her objects of desire include buttered Pop Tarts, macaroni and cheese and Cap'n Crunch cereal.

She said in January, "I had a buttered Pop Tart this morning,' she said. 'I'm eating a lot of stuff that I ate in my childhood. Kraft Mac n' Cheese, Pop Tarts, Cap'n Crunch. Everything's filled with sugar."

With that type of eating, she gained a lot of weight for her short 5'3" frame and now she is working hard to get that weight off, trying to eat healthier and bring her weight back down.

She's making progress and a report has revealed that Jessica is "excited" to show off the progress of her weight loss.

The new mother gave birth to her daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1 and has been working out at the gym to get rid of the 70 pounds she gained during her pregnancy.

A source close to the 30-year-old blonde beauty told website RadarOnline: "Jessica is so excited to show off her hard work. She's finally dropping some weight and she's so happy to be getting back into shape."

The singer signed a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers to become their spokesperson and she has been following their weight loss plan religiously.

The 'Dukes of Hazard' actress got her family and friends to lose weight with her and is exercising with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak.

The star has now shed enough fat to film her first television advert for the brand.

She tweeted: "That's a wrap! Just finished shooting my first @WeightWatchers commercial! Stay tuned..."

Jessica, is loving being a parent with her fiance Eric Johnson, and according to the source is hoping she will be an inspiration to other women.

They said: "Jess knows how hard it is to get rid of baby weight or any weight really, and she wants to show people that it can be done in a healthy way that isn't a crash diet or crazy workout but it just healthy and fun."
