Gwyneth Paltrow Loves Madonna, Slams America - Again
As Yogi Berra would say, "It's deja vu all over again." Of course that wouldn't make for very interesting or high-brow dinner conversation. American actress Gwyneth Paltrow is back to her America-bashing ways, oh and she loves fellow fake Brit Madonna.
"I love the English lifestyle, it's not as capitalistic as America. People don't talk about work and money, they talk about interesting things at dinner," she told "NS," the weekend magazine supplement of daily Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias on Saturday.
"I like living here because I don't fit into the bad side of American psychology. The British are much more intelligent and civilized than the Americans," the 34-year-old added.
Of course we've heard this all before from Paltrow. In February of this year she basically said the same thing. She says, "I love living in the UK! Brits are far more intelligent and civilized than Americans. "I love the fact that you can hail a taxi and just pick up the pram and put it in the back of the cab without collapsing it.
She then added, "I really don't think I'm stuck-up. And neither do the people who know me. "I can be picky and super-critical about things, and I have certain stand.
That certainly is riveting conversation.
She also added that having Madonna who breaks into a fake British accent from time to time and is married British film director Guy Ritchie six years ago, nearby was another advantage to living in London.
"She's like an older sister. Everything I have gone through, she went through ten times worse and ten times longer. She gives me good advice about how to say no and take care of myself," said Paltrow.
