Harry Potter star Emma Watson is reportedly leaving Hogwarts behind to work with Goth rocker Marilyn Manson. Emma, 19, will star as a princess in a Gothic interpretation of fairytale Cinderella alongside Marilyn, 40. The pair will be starring in a musical version of Cinderella, and this will be Emma's first film since the boy wizard films.

She is the only Harry Potter star who has not appeared in another film, as co-star Daniel Radcliffe, 19, starred in the flick December Boys as well as on stage in Equus. Their co-star Rupert Grint, 20, who played Ron Weasley, appeared in the 2006 film Driving Lessons, as well as having a role in Thunderpants in 2002.


More Potter notes - Daniel Radcliffe has admitted he is a huge fan of TV show Britain's Got Talent. The 19-year-old actor, who stars in the new film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, said he shares his interest in the show with the rest of the UK's viewing public.

He said: "My guilty secret is that I watch Britain's Got Talent. But I guess that many millions of others do as well." Speaking about the contestants on the show, he said: "The best quality you can have is fearlessness. That is what you should aim for. "You should be willing to try anything. You might fail but at least you've made the attempt. That's what I aspire to."
