Hollywood actress Mary-Kate Olsen has now officially been subpoenaed by the DEA to answer questions about Heath Ledgers death, a report from Access Hollywood claims. The nightly syndicated entertainment and news program reports that the actress will testify about whether she gave medications to Ledger. Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription medications earlier this year. Her attorney is adamant that Mary-Kate Olsen did nothing improper or wrong in the accidental death of Ledger.

In other Heath Ledger news a new report this week from Life & Style Weekly says that Heath Ledger's dream will live on. It's full steam ahead for the restaurant and bar that the late actor wanted to open in Brooklyn, N.Y. “Heath was very, very into it,” Jud Mongell, Heath’s longtime pal and business partner, tells Life & Style.


“He drew the floor plans and thought of the name — BrightSide — because it’s on the bright side of McCarren Park.” The eatery, which is scheduled to open later this summer, will have personal touches from Heath. For instance, a chessboard will be engraved into one of the tables. “Heath was a big chess player,” notes Jud. “The whole idea was to make it a spot for us. We wanted to make it our own space to hang out.”

The report claims that Heath also wanted a family style table. “He specifically talked about having a place for him and his family to sit,” John McCormick, who designed the bar, tells Life & Style. “It was great working with Heath. He was the most unassuming guy.”
