TV News - Heidi Klum's popular reality series Project Runway will hit the catwalk as it returns to television on August 20. The competition that pitches up-and-coming designers against each other will air at its new home, Lifetime. Project Runway was supposed to make its debut on the cable channel last November, but the show's producer, the Weinstein Company, got into a protracted lawsuit with Bravo.

A settlement has been reached allowing the latter station to launch its Project Runaway replacement, The Fashion Show, in May. Klum, 35, who is pregnant with her fourth child, will not be the only highlight on Lifetime, a channel aimed at women.


A development slate has also been revealed that includes drama series based on movies Mona Lisa Smile and Mystic Pizza. A US version of the British series Murder in Suburbia is also in the works.

So too is the pilot Sherri - a series starring Sherri Shepherd, one of The View co-hosts. Former Moonlighting actress Cybill Shepherd will also get her own Lifetime pilot as will celebrity Jenny Craig slimmer Valerie Bertinelli.
