The son of wrestling guru and reality television star Hulk Hogan has been injured in what has been called a serious automobile accident. According to a report from AOL's Celebrity website TMZ.Com the accident happened in Clearwater, Florida. There are few details available yet. His condition is not known and it is still not clear how many vehicles were involved or how many were hurt.

Law enforcement officials have spoken with TMZ and they say that Hogan was involved in the "serious" car accident on Sunday. The crash is said to have multiple victims and occurred around 7:31 p.m. EDT tonight. According to the report the accident happened on Court Street, a main drag in downtown Clearwater, causing the entire street to be shut down for hours.


Hogan made news earlier this month when it was alleged that he claimed that $100,000 in custom jewelry went missing from his Miami Beach home. "The jewelry was just stolen from a closet in my house," Nick Hogan told reporters at the time.

Update - WTSP Tampa has thison the television station's website: Two young men were injured, one critically and the other seriously, when their vehicle careened out of control and hit a palm tree in Clearwater Sunday evening. Preliminary investigation indicates the car was traveling at a high rate of speed.

Both of the occupants were flown to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
