Earlier it was reported that Jennifer Love Hewitt's boyfriend Jamie Kennedy is reportedly "still hung up" on ex-girlfriend Shannon Funk. Jamie, 39, is dating the 30-year-old actress, but it is claimed he still cares about ex-girlfriend Shanna, who was Britney Spears' former assistant, and is still in contact with her.

A source said to FOX411: "Jamie is still hung up on Shannon and has been telling her that.

He also told her he had zero desire to go to the Tao event with [Love Hewitt], but Jen insisted they go together to put rumors to rest.


"Jamie decided he at least owed her that, so he appeased her and accompanied her to the event even though he's pretty much checked out of the relationship." However, a pal of Jamie's said that Jennifer isn't totally unaware of what he's been thinking.

The source said: "Jen knows things have really changed with them, but the public appearance is all part of her damage-control plan. Unfortunately for her, it doesn't seem Jamie is going to stay with Jen ultimately."

Update - The two are adamant they are still together and photos showing that they're still "very much together" are published as Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy were side-by-side at The Children's Institute's "Poker For A Cause" celebrity poker tournament on Saturday night (October 17).
