The 'My Name Is Earl' star and entertainment lawyer Simran Singh are said to have ended their 16-month marriage although no further details have been released.

As well as experiencing marriage difficulties, Jaime - who has a three-year-old son, Dezi James, with former fiance DJ Eric Calvo - is also facing financial problems as she reportedly owes $637,000 in state and federal taxes.

According to website E! Online, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) filed a tax lien on the 33-year-old star in December.

The US government tax agency also filed a $281,699 tax lien on September 8 for 2008 income taxes and on June 21 the state of California filed a $95,080 lien in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, Jaime was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and was taken into custody in Los Angeles after police performed a sobriety test when they pulled her over for allegedly committing a traffic violation.

She was released on $15,000 bail and will appear in court again on February 7.
