Friends is returning to television after former cast members agreed to a multi-million dollar deal to star in four one-hour specials.

In a meeting before Christmas, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry reportedly agreed to a $5 million deal with NBC for another go-round.

Sources say scriptwriters have already started writing for the four double episodes, which are due to air sometime this year.
Some have said that Jennifer Aniston was the last to agree to the new deal.

An NBC insider says:

"She's the one who had been holding out. But she's now agreed to reprise her role of Rachel Green. Bringing them back is a dream come true.:

The insider predicts, "Ratings will go through the roof."
