Jennifer Aniston has Foot Tattoo in Remembrance of Dog, Norman

Jennifer Aniston keeps the ashes of her dead dogs on her mantle piece of the house she shares with Justin Theroux.

The 'Marley and Me' actress was renowned for having a close relationship with her former pet pooches, and now has the remains of three of her dogs on display.

Speaking in an interview with America's GQ Magazine, she said: "We have one white shepherd [Dolly], but I had another dog [Norman] who died last year. We actually have three dead dogs on our mantel right now. The whole mantel is dead dogs. Their ashes. It's kind of morbid."

Jennifer - who is currently dating actor Justin Theroux - had a tattoo of her dog Norman's name on the inside of her right foot after he died last year, but has since adopted a new pet, believed to be a shepherd mix from the Utah Friends Animal Society.

Discussing the death of Norman and her consequent inking in 2011, she said: "That's my dog. My baby who just passed away. I never thought that would ever happen. It's just my way to pay homage to him - forever."
