Did Jennifer Love Hewitt and new sweetie Jamie Kennedy have a tiff over Hilary Duff? A report from Us Magazine claims that an insider claims the two actresses may be clashing over Love's new man. Us reports, "Jennifer Love Hewitt has lover Jamie Kennedy on a tight leash, “She’s needy and possessive,” a Ghost Whisperer source tells Hot Stuff of the dating costars.

The insider spills, "Jamie recently filmed some scenes with [guest star] Hilary Duff, and Jennifer acted jealous and shot Hilary nasty looks nasty looks." However Duff tells Us that's not even close. “Absolutely not true. Love has never been anything but a great friend to me.”


The report adds, "Still, the actress, 30, who was first linked to Kennedy, 38, in February (after splitting with fiance’ Ross McCall), likes to keep a watch on her man. When Kennedy visited pals at the Improv Comedy Club in L.A. several weeks ago, a source says she was diligent.

"Every 10 minutes he’d get a text from her asking, ‘Where are you?’” Kennedy certainly seems content with his new love. He recently said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show that Hewitt “breathes life in to you in a new way and makes you fuller."
