Jenny Sanford and Georgia businessman Clay Boardman are dating, her rep revealed to ABC News. She met the businessman while giving a speech at the College of Charleston, reports the E Canada Now. Her divorce from straying Gov. Mark Sanford was finalized last month.
Mixing pop culture and politics, the Washington Post "Reliable Source" column dubs her the "Jennifer Aniston of U.S. politics." That may not be fair to Jennifer (pictured) or Jenny.
Aniston's husband Brad Pitt did leave his wife for Angelina Jolie in the most public way possible, first starring in a movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" with Jolie, then dumping Aniston for the younger pillow lipped American beauty after the film was a blockbuster hit.
Jenny was also publicly embarrassed by her husband. South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, admitted to an extramarital affair and professed his eternal love for his Argentine mistress, Maria Belen Chapur after he actually went missing for a few days only to finally reveal he was in Argentina with his mistress and had been cheating on his wife Jenny.
Aniston's love life is open to rumor and speculation each week in the tabloids. Certainly Jenny doesn't want that, but in a recent book tour for her memoir "Staying True," Sanford said she would be open to dating again.
