After Jericho was canceled at the end of its first season, fans sent hundreds of tons of peanuts to CBS in protest - a show of support after star Skeet Ulrich's character said "Nuts!" to rivals during the season finale. The network gave in and brought the show, about survivors of a nuclear bomb, back for another season.

And no one is happier than series star Ashley Scott, 30, who jumped at the chance to continue playing scrappy survivor Emily. The sexy Louisiana native spoke to Star Magazine about the new season and her question and answer is below.


Q: How did you feel when you heard the show was coming back?

A: Spectacular! It represented what Jericho is really about: people standing up and taking care of business. It's a bit surreal though. I feel like Ashton Kutcher is going to jump out and say it's a joke!

Q: How has Jericho changed your life?

A: Well, I drive a much nicer car! But really I'm still me. At least I'm getting some money for all of the nuts I sent to CBS!


Q: Dating Anyone?

A: No. I recently got divorced, so I'm kind of taking a break form guys for a minute. I'm enjoying my girlfriends and guy friends and going to movies and hanging out. Ending a relationship takes time. It's a little weird, but I'll be all right."
