Jessa Duggar Talks Church Rumor
Jessa Duggar talks church rumor?
Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald were recently married and during the ceremony decided not to have their first kiss at the altar.
The young husband and wife are two of the reality TV stars who are on 19 Kids and Counting and preferred to share their very first kiss in private.
A satirical entry on a blog by a poster using the screen name Mary B. was picked up by RadarOnline and others and reported as a rumor as the entry joked that after the wedding, even though Jessa and Ben skipped a public kiss, they started the honeymoon a bit early in a church closet.
Wedding guest "Mary B." claimed Jessa, 21, and Ben, 19, were caught in an act of “lust” when "her free-spirited sister Jinger, 20, accidentally opened the door to a closet" in the Arkansas church.
The entry added:
“Multiple people were discussing that when Jinger opened the door to get Jess for the reception, she immediately closed the door with a look of shock on her face,” Mary wrote.
“A big group of the girls were waiting outside the room to walk with her out…and my own daughters saw as well.”
“I am not sure why they would not wait for the evening to pray and then consummate God’s marriage,” Mary continued.
“The Lord has blessed them and brought them together. To hear so many people discussing what they inadvertently walked into was heartbreaking and troubling….I believe Jessa and Ben are in deep lust with each other.”
If that sounds like satire, that's because it is.
The original entry was here and has been updated to take out the claims.
An new entry explains:
HELLO! This is "Mary B." from the "Duggar wedding" again. I was very surprised to recently hear my original comment regarding the wedding was reported by multiple news agencies, websites, and publications. Why was I surprised? BECAUSE THE COMMENT IS NOT TRUE. I was not at the wedding- I don't know the Duggars personally. This comment was SATIRE on a SATIRICAL blog. This would be similar to CNN pulling stories from TheOnion and reporting on them. The funny thing is the people posting using the name "Mary B." are (from what I can tell) all different people. I made the original joke comment and others have "added" to the story with new comments.
