She is currently dating (or not) "light green" global warming advocate John Mayer and now she reportedly perused Leonardo DiCaprio, who debuted his advocacy film '11th Hour' at Cannes. Does global warming heat up Jessica? At an exclusive party on a private yacht in Cannes, Jessica Simpson reportedly "spent the whole night following Leonardo DiCaprio around like a lost puppy," a source tells Page Six.

So how does Leo feel about his new global warming groupie? According to the New York Post, "He just seemed freaked out and kind of ignored her."

I guess we'll really know if Jessica is a global warming groupie if she winds up going after Al Gore at some point. On his blog, her current squeeze Mayer earlier wrote that he was promoting something he calls 'light green' and readily admits up front, "to anybody ready to cut me down for this, here's my full disclosure:

"I drive a Porsche SUV, I still drink lots of bottled water, and I will be flying private charter several times during my summer tour. However, my bus has been converted to Bio-Diesel, and I'll be coming up with even more ways to adapt to the 'Light Green' mentality before I set out for the summer."
