The pair attended Jessica's sister Ashlee Simpson's wedding over the weekend and some insider's even said they were cuddling and cordial. Jessica then left for a Mexican vacation with her family and without Tony Romo. Is this when we see an entrance by Carrie Underwood?

OK! Magazine first detailed the rivalry in January and reported it this way. "They have this tease posted online. "Jessica Simpson is trying to keep romance alive with Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo. But with fans blaming her for the Cowboys’ playoff loss, Jess is spending more time worrying about her well-being than her relationship. She’s also feeling pressure to outshine Tony's ex Carrie Underwood, a fellow blonde bombshell."

The gist was that Jessica was trying to keep Tony by emulating Carrie.

Carrie Underwood has said that she and Tony Romo are just good friends and there is really no reason not to believe her, but fans have been desperately try to get these two back together since Jessica entered the scene. So what's next for Tony Romo?
