Bad week ender for Jon and Kate dad Jon Gosselin. The TLC network "has sued Jon Gosselin for breaching his contract as a star of the hit reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8." The lawsuit, filed today in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Md.," the Associated Press reports.

More bad news...Jon Gosselin is not having luck in searching out his next gig, according to producers cited in press reports. Gosselin, who is embroiled in a week-to-week, off-screen divorce drama with wife Kate, has approached awards shows with requests to act as a presenter but been knocked back by at least two of them, they say.


He was said to have asked for an appearance fee of $30,000 before offering his services for free bar travel and accommodation. One producer said: “There was absolutely no interest in having him be a part of our show, no matter how much it was not going to cost us. He thinks he can attach himself to any project that has cameras. I guess he doesn’t realise that the world is not his personal reality show."

Meanwhile, Gosselin has given interviews in Los Angeles to defend himself from the latest round of attacks from Kate, who is steaming over Gosselin's pulling the plug on her new show, Kate Plus Eight. He has banned crews from the couple's home and from filming his children.
