Rising country music star Taylor Swift opens up on her album and her split with Jonas Brothers star and lady killer Joe Jonas this week in US Weekly Magazine. Who's afraid of a sophomore slump? Not Taylor Swift, whose second album (which hit November 11) has a title that reflects her personality: Fearless.

In fact, according to the report it's easy to forget the Pennsylvania native, who writes her own songs, is just 18 years old - she even talks to the mag about casting her first vote ("It was amazing"), her BFF's (Kellie Pickler is one) and boys. The country crooner dishes on her new CD and breaking up in the public eye.

Question and answers from us Weekly. Q - What was your inspiration for this album? A: Boys, love, and relationships. There are 500 angles to a breakup. You never run out of things to write about because you feel different every day.
Q - Are there any songs specifically about your breakup with Joe Jonas? A: "Yes, "Forever & Always" is about watching someone fade away from you and wondering what you did wrong. I asked my label to let me record it at the last minute; I thought it really belonged on the album."
Q - You've been candid about him breaking up with you over the phone. A: "I felt like I owed it to my fans. They're used to me sharing who I am, what I'm doing and who I'm writing my songs about. I've never hidden things from them before, so I figured why start now?
