While wild reports crash in from the 'Promises' center in Malibu, California where Britney Spears is now seeking treatment a whole world continues outside. Part of that world is Britney's career which many are speculating is in tatters and has crash and burned with her wild partying ways. But Britney still has friends in high places to help while she seeks treatment. According to Star Magazine one of those friends is former love Justin Timberlake.

He has taken time out of his busy A-list dating schedule to help Britney out according to a report set for publication in this week's magazine.

The report: Britney’s problems have forced everyone around her to reevaluate their relationships with the troubled star. That includes executives at her recording label, Jive, who sources tell Star were ready to dump Brit until Justin Timberlake stepped in.

A source close to the label tells Star that Justin has assured Jive bigs that Britney still has a hit album in her. “He’s putting his reputation on the line,” says the industry insider. Her comeback album, previously due in the second half of 2007, has been removed from Jive’s release schedule. “Justin bought Britney a little more time,” says the source. “But Jive expects Brit in the studio a week or two after leaving rehab.
