Karl thinks Adele is too overweight at the moment.

Karl Lagerfeld has called Adele "a little too fat" and as also hit out at Russian men (ugly and horrible) and says Lana del Ray looks good - with implants!

The Chanel designer is a huge fan of the 'Someone Like You' singer's voice and thinks she has a beautiful face but claimed she is too overweight at the moment.

Speaking to French newspaper Metro, he said: "I prefer Adele and Florence Welch. The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice."

While Karl doesn't rate newcomer Lana Del Rey's voice as he does Adele's he revealed he finds her more aesthetically pleasing.

He said: "Lana Del Rey is not bad at all. She looks very much like a modern-time singer. In her photos she is beautiful. Is she a construct with all her implants? She's not alone with implants."

This isn't the first time Karl - who famously dropped 92 pounds in 13 months 10 years ago - has hit out at fuller figures.

Claiming that fashion is about "dreams and illusions", he has previously said: "No one wants to see curvy women.

"You've got fat mothers with their bags of chips sitting in front of the television and saying that thin models are ugly."
