When TLC brings back whatever Jon and Kate Plus 8 and a stepmom named haily Glassman is titled, it should be interesting reality TV. In Touch Weekly is reporting, "When Hailey Glassman accepted Jon’s marriage proposal during a romantic trip to the French Riviera in mid-July, she must have known that in addition to becoming his wife, she’ll also instantly become a part-time caretaker of his eight kids."

That may have been the plan as the weekly celebrity magazine adds that "instead of being daunted, Hailey is enthusiastic about the enormous responsibility she’d face raising 8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets."


The magazine has the weird family on the cover and notes in the story,
as the new couple celebrated their engagement with champagne at the V.I.P Room nightclub on July 13, Hailey told Jon, “I can’t wait to be a stepmom!” an onlooker tells In Touch. “She was saying she thinks it will be fun and how much she loves kids, and that she has always wanted a big family.”

According to a friend of the two, Jon and Hailey are looking forward to raising his children together. “Every time one of the kids called him when they were in St. Tropez, Hailey would gaze at Jon lovingly, then ask all about which one had called and what they were up to back home,” says the friend. Hailey may be raring to go, but the friend says that she has unrealistic expectations of her new responsibilities. “She really thinks being a stepmom will be great and she won’t have to discipline the kids,” the friend explains.

“When she found out what Jon had done, she saw it as the ultimate betrayal. It was like a knife in her back.” Kate will not let Hailey — who has been arrested and has a reputation as a wild party girl — just waltz into her children’s lives, especially since she’s barely even speaking to Jon.
