Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh desperately tried to keep her wedding plans under wraps- swearing her family and friends to secrecy. But The Enquirer will report that it has learned all the fabulous details of the happy day - and even got a look at the star's wild and crazy bachelorette party.

Kate Walsh Wedding: Secret Plans Revealed

Kate's wedding will be a swanky, ultra-private event, and is scheduled for Labor Day weekend at a posh resort two hours northwest of Los Angeles. Kate- soon to star in the much anticipated "Grey's" spin-off "Private Practice"- will tie the knot with 20th Century FOX production co-president Alex Young at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa.


The National Enquirer reports that the four day wedding extravaganza features enough food to feed a small nation. "Kate's life is flying at about 100 mph these days, between shooting her new series and making plans for her wedding," a friend of the 39 year-old star told The Enquirer. Even her romance with Alex took place at breakneck speed- they only dated a few months before getting engaged.

"After looking at several locales for the wedding, Kate zeroed in on the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa- where they're sparing no expense," revealed a pal. For the ceremony, Kate reserved the inn's Casa Elar, a Spanish-style estate for $10,000. The couple is expecting 110 guests, who'll arrive at the inn on August 30, the Thursday before the wedding. They'll enjoy a dinner reception that night. The following day a family-and-friends luncheon is scheduled, and that night the groom will host a traditional rehearsal dinner. A Saturday afternoon pre-wedding brunch is planned to precede the sunset nuptials.


What to wear? "Kate has selected a stunning Vera Wang bridal gown, and the groom and his attendants will wear formal attire," revealed the friend. After the Sept. 1. ceremony, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception. A sit down dinner will follow.

"Kate has gone all out to serve a feast for her guests," said her pal. "The meal will cost about $250 per person." The day after the wedding there will be one more brunch to cap off the four days of festivities.
