Josh Kelley explains to Life & Style Weekly why he and Katherine Heigl waited until after their vows to nest, "I'm from the South. That's the way we roll. And Katherine is from a family with good values. Some people live together before they are married for several years and then there is nothing different after the wedding!"

During Josh and Katherine’s romantic honeymoon in Los Cabos, Mexico, the pair ran into newly engaged couple Josh Duhamel and Fergie! “On New Year’s Eve, me and Fergie got up and did at duet together at the Esperanza outside bar, 'Santeria' by Sublime. It was fun!”


While staying at the Esperanza, Josh made sure to burn everyone a copy of his new CD, “It’s called Special Company. It’s about going through a new growth phase. In my case, it’s getting married and sharing a life with somebody. I had great inspiration; my girl was a pretty awesome muse for this album! It comes out on Feb. 5 in stores and Jan. 14 on iTunes.”

“My favorite moment was when I looked back at my groomsmen and the sun was setting and the sky was vanilla. I felt like the wedding was something out of The Chronicles of Narnia! It was just amazing,” musician Josh Kelley tells Life & Style of his magical wedding to Katherine Heigl at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah.


Josh adds that he was blown away by the vision of Katherine in white, “You never know how you are going to feel, but when I saw my girl come out in wedding dress my whole body just dropped and I went weak.”

“Katherine may join me on the road. My idea is for two weeks on, two weeks off. We’ll be keeping family tight. Now that I'm married, it feels better, feels different. The only way to make it work is to make compromises early on. I want to make time for my new family.”
