Katie Holmes to Give Birth in Santa Monica
The fabulous Katie Holmes is still pregnant, and still in LA and reports detail she is still worried about the birth of her baby. And according to one broadcast report the birth will be at St Johns Hospital in Santa Monica.
Earlier rumors speculated that Katie would fly to Toledo to give birth - one even passed along that she gave birth last week - but it appears she will be in California for her special delivery.
And from the latest snaps it looks like she could pop at any moment. The unmarried gal of Tom Cruise is probably ready to get this whole ordeal over with, her bump is huge.
And it will be quiet.
Star Magazine reports that during the delivery that she'll have to be silent (not even a moan!) during the delivery, lest the trauma be imprinted in her baby's brain. Inside Edition even caught guests of the weekend Scientology baby shower that showed huge poster boards that tell Katie to "be silent."
The birth will reportedly be at St Johns Hospital in Santa Monica, according to another broadcast report.
Other famous Scientology moms have tried this - but not all have quite made it completely silent.
But the Star dishes even more worried for Katie:
"Only Tom and a few Scientology supporters will be in the room — not Katie's mother!" And Scientology advocates separating the baby from its mother for at least the first 24 hours after birth. Now, Star reports that it has learned, Katie, 27, is equally stressed about post-birth life with baby!
Scientology's strict rules dictate that mothers shouldn't coddle their kids or even treat them with conventional medicine when they're sick. "It's a lot for an expectant mother to be worrying about," says a friend of Holmes.
"Katie has seen the way Tom's raising his own kids, Connor, 11, and Isabella, 13, who are Scientologists, and I bet she's nervous about what that way of life will mean for her child."
From the looks of her belly - we should all know soon.
