Keith Urban is a country music superstar. He has millions and millions of records sold and has achieved incredible success in his career. He's the three time reigning CMA 'Male Vocalist of the Year.' In the U.S. and Australia he's incredibly well known, but a report claims that he detests being called 'Mr. Nicole Kidman.' Who has dubbed him with that label? Best guess is theEuropeans, though I have never heard Keith referred to as such.

In a report that reads like satire the claim is made that Urban, who (and I quote) "was a relatively unknown country singer outside the U.S. and Australia made headlines around the world when he married Oscar winner Nicole Kidman and then checked himself into rehab a few months later."

The report details that Urban is fighting back at the media attention and, with it, the tabloids’ description of him in terms of his marriage, as opposed to his musical success.

“It's extremely painful, no doubt about it,” said Urban of the tag, reports the World Entertainment News Network. “But at the same time, I can only say that it'd drive me crazy if I kept confronting myself with those kinds of things." Look this isn't Kevin Federline or Stedman Graham. Urban is a star and a stellar songwriter and musician.

I find it hard to believe that anyone refers to him as Mr. Kidman.
