The Kentucky Derby is a horse race for three-year-old thoroughbred horses and is held in Louisville, Kentucky at Churchill Downs on the first Saturday in May of each year.

The latest odds show California Chrome as the favorite to claim first place in Saturday’s race, but favorites rarely win the Kentucky Derby so bettors will be looking for any edge to pick their horses and make their bets.
