What do you get when you cross Kiefer Sutherland with Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough, and a possibly knocked down Brooke Shields? In New York, reports detail that Sutherland appeared to channel his character from his popular TV series '24' and head butted the designer Jack Bauer style! In photos after the alleged head butt that left McCollough in a heap, and ater with a visit to the hospital, Bauer - uh - Sutherland can be seen puffing away on a cigarette.

According to the UK Daily Mail, the wild scene unfolded at the Costume Institute Gala after-party in New York's SubMercer bar. Reports vary on the particulars and now Brooke has chimed in as well. here's how it has unfolded. Initial reports claimed that Jack McCollough (the designer) had knocked down Brooke Shields, sutherland moved in and demanded an apolgy and when it didn't come gave Jack the headbutt.


But Brooke seems to challenge that account and later spilled to TMZ through a rep that she couldn't understand why Sutherland pulled the move as she was unharmed. The earlier report cited witnesses that claimed that Kiefer had rushed to the aid of Brooke and demanded an apology after McCollough knocked her down.
