Kim Kardashian has slammed a seller on online auction website eBay.com for using a picture of the socialite to try and boost bids for a boat.

Kardashian says using her image is false advertising.

The reality TV star has been left fuming after discovering a photograph of her posing provocatively on a yacht is the main image on the seller's page, where he is trying to offload a white speedboat for $57,500.

In a post on Twitter.com, Kardashian writes, "False advertising! I'd hate 2 see someone get taken advantage of. The boat I was on is owned by my friend & isn't 4 (for) sale."
