Lawrence Taylor Hit with Sex Trafficking Lawsuit - Pleaded Guilty to Lesser Charges Earlier
One time NFL great Lawrence Taylor has been hit with a sex trafficking lawsuit by an 18-year old woman.
Taylor pleaded guilty to one count of soliciting a prostitute and a second count of sexual misconduct in having sex with a woman without consent from an incident in 2010.
The girl was only 16 years old at the time and could not give her consent by law.
According to an ESPN report, on the morning of the meeting with the 16-year old in a New York hotel room Taylor was arrested at a Holiday Inn in Montebello, N.Y.
Police said they were led to his hotel room by a 16-year-old runaway who had allegedly been forced into prostitution by Rasheed Davis.
Davis pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, while Taylor pleaded not guilty to charges of third-degree rape, patronizing a prostitute and endangering the welfare of a child.
He pleaded guilty to the lesser charges and Taylor was sentenced to six years' probation and must now register as a sex offender.
The new lawsuit is on top of that.
Fox News reveals the woman now wants money and the lawsuit, filed in Manhattan federal court, alleges Taylor "forced himself" on a "slight teenager who was not only visibly injured, shaken and crying, but expressly told him she did not want to engage in sex and tried to push his enormous body off hers."
Taylor then "handed her $300," according to the court filing.
The lawsuit seeks monetary damages for the woman — who is now 18 — in excess of $75,000.
