Lil Wayne Ejected (Video) Complains on Twitter
Lil Wayne says he was ejected this weekend at an NBA game, watch a video below.
Weezy (real name Dwayne Carter) was in the crowd when the Miami Heat played the Los Angeles Lakers in Miami and got into an exchange with rival fans.
The hip hop artist wrote on Twitter he had been kicked out of Sunday's game at American Airlines Arena for rooting for his team, the Lakers against the home team, the Heat.
"So I'm @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow!" Lil Wayne tweeted.
CBS Sports notes that in the meantime, a fan who was apparently at the game and near the incident tweeted that Lil Wayne was approached by Heat security after making a gesture.
"Random guy yelled at Lil Wayne at #MiamiHEAT game. Weezy looked back, gave him a mean stare & gestured he had a gun ... Weezy just got into argument with security at the #MiamiHEAT game. He got kicked out for gun gesture ... LOL @LilTunechi saying he got kicked out #MiamiHEAT game for being a #lakers fan. Its cuz he made a gun gesture at someone."
For the record - the Heat said Lil Wayne, who was not in his seat for the second half, was not ejected and chose to leave on his own.
