Is rapper Lil Wayne looking forward to jail? In December, the soon to be jailed singer gave a farewell concert of sorts in New Orleans as he knew he would soon be sent to prison. "I'm nothing without you," he told the screaming crowd at the concert.

Now he says he is ready to be punished. "This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that’s like,” he told Rolling Stone magazine. “I just say I’m looking forward to it, he emphatically added.


More Music notes...R&B singer Ne-Yo has spoken out about Chris Brown’s attack on singer Rihanna. Ne-Yo, 30, has said Brown's attack on his then-girlfriend Rihanna last year was "unacceptable".

He said: "What happened between Chris Brown and Rihanna was unacceptable, and we need to all work together and make sure it never happens again, to anyone."

Ne-Yo spoke out about domestic violence as he hit New York hot-spot SL. He then performed his new single Heroes for the crowd. Proceeds from sales of the song will go to Respect – a charity that helps to stop violence in relationships.
