Many are proclaiming that the Lindsay Lohan rehab is too lightweight to carry any serious changes for the 20-year old starlet. She has been in and out of the facility for such events as shopping and work and many believe she would be better suited in a full blown center ala Tara Conner or Keith Urban.

Lindsay Lohan Gets Praise From Jailed Dad for Rehab Stint

But according to In Touch Weekly, one of those that has praised Lindsay is her troubled dad. According to a report from the weekly entertainment magazine since Lindsay Lohan entered LA's Wonderland treatment facility on January 17, her father, Michael, has been desperate to reach her.

The magazine has a two-page letter posted on the web site that was exclusively revealed to In Touch. Her dad praises her for "taking back control of your life." Michael, who was certified as a pastoral minister for the Assemblies of God church, is serving time in Collins, N.Y., for assault.

A snip of the letter reads - "I'm so proud of you in that you are taking back control of your life and putting it back on track like God wants. Now it's time to "clean house," in every sense of the word, and start anew."

Continuing, "As I've always told you Linds, you are blessed and God wants you to use your blessing to set an example and bless others through it as well."
