Lindsay Lohan is suing an online stock trading firm for $100 million, claiming a "milkaholic" baby called Lindsay used in a TV commercial is based on her. The actress says in a lawsuit that financial firm E-Trade has caused her pain and suffering after airing the television advert, which features the talking, boyfriend-stealing tot.

Lawyers for Lohan, 23, filed a lawsuit in Nassau County Supreme Court in New York, the New York Post reports.

Lohan's legal representative, Stephanie Ovadia, said: "Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit. They used the name Lindsay. They're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody's talking about it and saying it's Lindsay Lohan."
She now hopes to get an injunction to stop the ad being broadcast. Chris Brown, a spokesman for Grey Group, which produced the promo, said it "just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team". E-Trade could not be reached for comment.
