Lindsay Lohan is working to salvage her latest misadventure while Spice Girl Mel B may have leaked on a Spice girls reunion. Lindsay back-pedaled in a bid to make up lost ground on her flopped Paris fashion week venture. Lohan was appointed artistic adviser to a show for Ungaro but was reduced to tears on the Paris catwalk after the clothing proved unpalatable. Back in New York this week, she blamed the flop on "coming in so late and having not that much time to do a whole collection".

The clothing was deemed too skimpy and full of clashing items. But Lohan indicated she didn't know what was in the collection when she said: "I wasn’t aware of the nipple tassels on the girls until they were walking out. I am going back to Paris for the next collection – I am learning."


Spice Girl Mel B (pictured) let the cat out of the bag about a second reunion of the popular five-girl band. But the reunion may turn out to be one acted by others on a musical stage. The five Spices are said to be in talks to tell their story in a blockbuster stage musical and were seen holding secret talks over dinner at posh Nobu restaurant in London. Geri Halliwell is set to produce the musical, while the other Spices are consulting on which actresses will play them.

A source said: "The project is Geri’s baby really but all the girls are backing it. The idea is for five relatively unknown actresses to take the parts and hopefully the girls will each have a say in who is cast." The Spice Girls was formed in 1994, comprising Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm. Beckham, aka "Posh", has by far outstripped the others in terms of fame. The band has sold 65 million records worldwide. The band split in 2000 but had a short-lived comeback in 2007.
