Lindsay Lohan's Lawyer Thinks Charges will be Dropped
Lindsay Lohan's lawyer expects her to be ''totally exonerated'' after she was arrested for fighting in the early hours of Thursday morning (29.11.12).
The troubled actress was booked by police for third degree misdemeanor assault following an altercation with Tiffany Mitchell at New York City nightclub Avenue but her legal representative Mark Heller believes Tiffany is just using Lindsay to try to ''capture 15 minutes of fame''.
He said in a statement: ''Once again, Lindsay Lohan is a victim of someone trying to capture their 15 minutes of fame.
''From my initial investigation, I am completely confident that this case will be concluded favorably and that Lindsay will be totally exonerated.''
Lindsay is scheduled appear in court on January 7 for an arraignment hearing but her lawyer is confident police will dismiss the case against the 'Liz & Dick' star before it goes before a judge.
He said: ''We are going to be working very earnestly to establish that no charges should even be lodged.
''[The police] have already made arrangements to get the video from the club, which hopefully will reveal some exonerating information. After that, they could just walk away from the case and decline to even prosecute.''
